Responsibilities by sections

Responsibilities for the Section of Evaluation on Teaching and Education Assessment

(a)      Planning, developing survey questionnaires and methodology, and building data systems to monitor and evaluate for the improvement of teaching, learning and education assessment activities

(b)      Conducting sample-based monitoring and evaluation on teaching and learning activities

(c)      Monitoring and evaluating on education standard and quality assurance activities

(d)      Evaluating on the implementation of activities that are conducted by the Basic Education Assessment Policy

(e)      Submitting evaluation reports that included strengths, weakness and recommendations by concluding, calculating and organizing the results of educational monitoring and evaluation

Responsibilities for the section of Evaluation on Curriculum and Training

(a)      Planning, developing survey questionnaires and methodology, and building data systems to monitor and evaluate for the improvement of curriculum and training

(b)     Conducting sample-based monitoring and evaluation on curriculum and training activities

(c)      Monitoring and Evaluating on curriculum training

(d)      Monitoring and Evaluating on preservice trainings, in-service trainings, refresher trainings, capacity improvement trainings, short term trainings, mid-term trainings and long-term trainings

(e)      Submitting reports that included strengths, weakness and recommendations by concluding, calculating and organizing the results of educational monitoring and evaluation

Responsibilities of Administration and Finance Section

(a)      Conducting administration and finance activities of the department

(b)      Managing the employment, transfer and promotion issues of the staff

(c)      Implementing capacity building activities for the development of human resources

(d)      Contributing to facilitate the implementation of activities and enhance the flow of information between sections

(e)      Establishing a Database System that collects information so that various section can use it

Responsibilities for the section of Evaluation on Research and Planning

(a)      Planning, developing survey questionnaires and methodology, and building data systems to monitor and evaluate for the improvement of curriculum and training

(b)      Monitoring and Evaluating to meet requirements for the development of research activities at universities, degrees colleges, and colleges

(c)      Monitoring and Evaluating the implementation status of educational activities, projects, and programme of the departments

(d)      Evaluating the annual budget, expenditure and outputs of the departments, and conducting Annual Performance Review

(e)      Submitting reports that included strengths, weakness and recommendations by concluding, calculating and organizing the results of educational monitoring and evaluation

Responsibilities for the section of Evaluation on International Education Cooperation

(a)      Compare and analyze international educational systems and the educational systems currently being implemented in their country

(b)      Adopting monitoring and evaluation systems that are flexible with our education system by studying and analyzing international monitoring and evaluation system

(c)      Evaluating the status of international education cooperation (Research Collaboration, Student Exchange, Teacher Exchange Programme, etc.) by university, degree college, and college

(d)      Evaluating the status of educational promotion projects, MOU and  MOA introduction conditions in relation with departments, local and international development partners and related ministries

(e)      Submitting reports that included strengths, weakness and recommendations by concluding, calculating and organizing the results of educational monitoring and evaluation
